PRESENTATION
Société de Véhicules Électriques (SVE) specializes in design of the CleanovaTM system, an innovative electric power system for vehicles. CleanovaTM exists in two versions: 100% electric and hybrid electric. CleanovaTM addresses all automakers interested in developing electric or hybrid vehicles.
CleanovaTM is an innovative, clean, efficient technology combining three main virtues:
- On-board intelligence, with UEGV vehicle management electronics. The SVE-developed UEGV controller is the nerve centre of the CleanovaTM system, performing all power control functions.
- Original power unit. The CleanovaTM electric power unit, developed for SVE by partner TM4, is compact and efficient (>90%). In the hybrid electric version, a two-cylinder internal combustion engine can be coupled with the electric motor via an intelligent clutch system, thus lifting vehicle range restrictions:

- The internal combustion engine can generate electricity for powering the electric motor or recharging the battery.
- The internal combustion engine can power the vehicle directly.
- Safe, powerful battery system: CleanbatTM. From extensive experience of over 500,000 km with vehicles fitted with lithium-ion batteries, SVE has developed unique know-how in selection of the best lithium-ion electrochemistries and integration in the vehicle environment. SVE’s CleanbatTM battery system can carry most lithium-ion cell technologies.- The internal combustion engine can power the vehicle directly.
