Enchanted Screens

On 30th November 2005, Artcurial and the Dassault Group organized an auction sale in favor of the “Toiles Enchantées” (Enchanted Screens) organization.

“Toiles Enchantées”, founded by Gisèle Tsobanian and presided by Alain Chabat, screens recent films every day in several hospitals, rehabilitation centers and other health establishments for children or disabled people in Greater Paris.
There are over 200 screenings a year in about 50 hospitals, thus letting children experience “going to the movies” and enabling them to stay in touch with life outside the hospital.

Several film stars and other artists have participated by drawing “their” film in a special coloring book. The participants have included Paul Auster, Tim Burton, Emmanuelle Béart, Isabelle Carré, Claire Chazal, Jodie Foster, Jamel Debbouze, Christian Lacroix, Patrick Poivre d’Arvor, Valérie Lemercier, Les Nuls, les Robins, Joey Starr, Wolinski, Michaël Youn, Zazie, Zep and many others.

The sale of these coloring books generated €70,000, thus enabling more screenings to be organized in a greater number of hospitals. The Dassault Group has been supporting “Les Toiles Enchantées” since 2004 bringing financial and logistical support to its actions.
